The original inspiration was a photo I took of her son and our dog against the backdrop of some red rock formations in Sedona, AZ.
This is a favorite photo of mine, and my girlfriend has always loved the idea of creating a story based off this image.
I was finally able to create this mini-comic with the help of the incredibly talented Niki Ortiz.
